Carotech Bhd. incorporated in 1992, is one of Malaysia's home-grown success stories.
The company has the first and largest intergrated plant in the world to commercially extract tocotrienol complex (Tocomin - Potent Vitamin E), mixed carotenes complex (Caromin - Natural Carotenoids) and phytosterols (Stelessterol) from crude palm oil/ palm fruits (Elaeis guineensis). The extraction technology is protected through US Patent No. 5,157,132.
Carotech commenced production in 1995 and has since successfully carved a niche and become the leading and largest producer of these phytonutrients, throughout the world, with the United States, Europe, Japan and Australia making up the main markets.
