ALQUERFEED ANTITOX PLUS
Mycotoxin binder, probiotic and vitamin B in premix powder

PURPOSE
ALQUERFEED ANTITOX PLUS is intended for all species and ages to bind mycotoxins preventing enteritis and mycotoxicosis caused by the ingestion of contaminated feed and to repopulate the intestinal flora.

DESCRIPTION
ALQUERFEED ANTITOX PLUS is composed of silicates and probiotic microorganisms that replace the natural flora supplemented with vitamins B.

Silicates are chemical compounds that are capable of retaining mycotoxins within their three-dimensional structure, preventing the mycotoxins from being absorbed in the digestive tract. Upon contact with the mycotoxins the silicates form hydrogen bonds with mycotoxins. Mycotoxins thus bonded to the silicates pass through the intestinal tract of the animals without causing lesions in the intestinal walls (enteritis) and without being absorbed (mycotoxicosis). ALQUERFEED ANTITOX PLUS is composed of silicates that act as mycotoxin binders. Calcium, aluminium and sodium ions are inserted in the structure of the silicate which increases the silicates capacity to bind mycotoxins as these ions provide the suitable distances between the oxygen molecules to form the hydrogen bonds.

ALQUERFEED ANTITOX PLUS does not absorb nutrients such as vitamins, enzymes or proteins or pharmaceuticals in its structure.

ALQUERFEED ANTITOX PLUS contains probiotic microorganisms that replace the natural intestinal flora. Probiotics are natural substitutes of the intestinal flora. Their activity is based on the colonization of the empty intestinal spaces, acidification of the environment and production of digestive enzymes and bacteriocines. These activities lead to the repopulation of the intestinal habitat, inhibition of pathogen growth and finally, to an improvement of the feed digestibility.

DOSAGE
It is administered mixed with feed at the following doses:
Preventive, in non-contaminated feed 0.5- 1 kg/ton.
Preventive in feed of poor quality add 1.5 to 2 kg/ton.
In highly contaminated feed add 2.5 kg/ton of feed.
In farms with illnesses caused by mycotoxicosis or enteritis add 5 kg/ton for at least 5 days.
