Description

Protexin Lifestart is formulated to meet the critical needs of the newborn animal by containing ingredients which have a synergistic effect. The ingredient MCT oil (Medium Chain Triglycerides) is a highly absorbable form of energy that assists the young animal in becoming more active quickly and to feed more aggressively. This product also contains beneficial microorganisms that seed the immature gut thus promoting the mechanism of competitive exclusion against potential pathogenic bacteria. Allicin, the active component of garlic, is added due to its well established powerful antimicrobial and antiviral effects against pathogenic bacteria. In addition, supplementary colostrum helps to boost the newborns immunity.

For use in new born animals under adverse environmental conditions.

There are no contra indications or restrictions on the use of Protexin Lifestart.

There are no side effects.

Dosage

Calves: 10ml as soon as possible after birth
Piglets: 2ml as soon as possible after birth
Lambs: 4ml as soon as possible after birth

Withdrawal times

No withdrawal period required.
