ALQUERMOLD LIQUID FISHPreservative of fresh fish
PURPOSE
Indicated for the preservation of fresh fish stored in holds of ships destined for the fish meal plants.
DESCRIPTION
ALQUERMOLD LIQUID FISH is a preservative of fish composed of a mix of two acids (dralic acid and β-hydroxytripropanecarboxilic acid) and a substance extracted from aromatic plants (the cimenol ring).
The cimenol ring has a synergic effect with acid molecules like dralic acid and β-hydroxytripropanecarboxilic acid. These acids decrease the interior pH of the bacterial cell affecting their enzymatic activity, whereas the cimenol ring modifies the synthesis of the bacterial protein.
ALQUERMOLD LIQUID FISH has a preservative and antioxidant effect on fresh fish, as well as a strong bactericidal action on the microorganisms that contaminate the holds and equipment that are in contact with fish.
COMPOSITION
Dralic acid (E-236)50 gr
β-hydroxytripropanecarboxilic acid (E-330)500 gr
Natural extracts of cimenol ring100 gr
Exipient to 1 L
DOSAGE
It is mixed with the fresh fish at a doses of 5 L 50 L of sea water/ton of fresh fish.
