ALQUERPLUS ASINOL
Preservative in premix powder

PURPOSE
It is a preservative of raw materials and feeds destined for all species and ages.

DESCRIPTION
ALQUERPLUS ASINOL is used as a preservative of raw materials and feeds and also acts as a mycotoxin binder. The cimenol ring, extracted from aromatic plants, is common in a great number of molecules with preservative characteristics. At concentrations of 500-1000 ppm it is active against Salmonella, E.coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, Pediococcus, Leuconostoc, Penicillium, Aspergillus, Fusarium and Candida. The citric acid boosts its antimicrobial and fungicidal activity.

Silicates are chemical compounds that are capable of retaining mycotoxins within their three-dimensional structure, preventing the mycotoxins from being absorbed in the digestive tract. Upon contact with the mycotoxins the silicates form hydrogen bonds with mycotoxins. Mycotoxins thus bonded to the silicates pass through the intestinal tract of the animals without causing lesions in the intestinal walls (enteritis) and without being absorbed (mycotoxicosis).

It is used mixed with feed at a doses of 0.5 1.0 kg/ton.
