ALQUERPLUS SINDIARPreservative in oral solution
PURPOSE
Intended as a silage preservative and for the treatment and prevention of gastroenteritis caused by Clostridium spp, Salmonella spp, colibacilosis, gizzard mycosis and candidiasis.
It is also to improve the acid fixation capacity in feed (feed acidifier) for young animals and to acidify the digestive system in feeding changes.
DESCRIPTION
Citric acid is an acidifier of the intestinal tract. Due to its bactericidal properties it is used as a feed preservative. Chlorhydric acid is a natural component of the gastric juice. It is well known as a preservative.
Furthermore, ALQUERPLUS SINDIAR contains a synergetic mix of organic acid salts (ammonium propionate and formate) with inhibitory effect on the metabolisms of moulds and bacteria decreasing their internal pH so that enzymatic activity is affected, which finally leads to the death of the microorganism.
Therefore, ALQUERPLUS SINDIAR acts as a feed preservative controling the non-acid intestinal flora and the moulds that damage the feed and cause
bacterial and fungal enteritis.
COMPOSITION
Citric acid (E-330)80 g
Ammonium propionate (E-284)200 g
Ammonium formate (E-294)200 g
Chlorhydric acid (E-507)20 g
Excipient to 1 litre
DOSES
It is administered through drinking water or feed :
As an antidiarrhoeic administered mixed with the drinking water at a doses of 1 to 2 ml or administered directly into the mouth, diluted in 50% sugary water at doses of 10 ml for piglets, lambs and young goats and 50 ml for calves.
As an improver of acid fixation capacity in feed (acidifier) add to feed 1 to 2 litres/ton.
As a silage agent 10 litres/ton.
