PURPOSE
ALQUERNAT ZYCOX is intended for poultry and pigs as a prevention of intestinal and caecal coccidiosis produced by Eimeria spp.
DESCRIPTION
The parasitic cycle of Eimeria spp includes two intracellular invasions of the digestive mucus of poultry. This is why the health condition of the mucus and the mechanisms of the local immunity are very important in the fight against coccidiosis.
ALQUERNAT ZYCOX is a plant based specialty with a high level of pronutrients (polyphenols, essential oils and polysaccharides). These pronutrients give the digestive mucus protection against coccidia infestation because of the optimal condition of the mucus. It prevents the entry of the parasite in the intestinal epithelium and interrupts the vital cycle of the coccidia.
