The TECHNICAL INSTITUTE FOR CEREALS AND FORAGE (Arvalis - Institut du V?g?tal) is in charge of Applied Research and Development and is at the service of producers.
Formed in 1959 by French Farmers' Organisations, the Technical Institute for Cereals and Forage (Arvalis - Institut du V?g?tal) is financed and run by a Board of Directors composed of Farmers. The aim of Arvalis - Institut du V?g?tal is to develop and disseminate techniques and information enabling farmers and their partners to :
-adapt to the changing needs of the market
-maintain their international competitiveness
-while protecting the environment

This aim is carried out in close liaison with all professional organisations of the whole industries, as well as public and private research sectors, both national ...an abroad.
